ChronoBooks backs up all QuickBooks Online accounting objects supported by the QuickBooks Online API.

All objects that affect the QuickBooks Online chart of accounts are backed up.

Data that is not backed up:

  • QuickBooks Online Payments information (payment processing)
  • Customer types and price rules
  • Delayed Credits and Delayed Charges (although invoices that use these will be correctly backed up)
  • Recurring Transactions
  • Bank Feeds and their links to transactions, Bank Rules, and Bank Reconciliations
  • Account-based billable expenses
  • Item-based billable expenses with markup
  • Custom reports
  • Custom form styles/templates

The above objects are non-posting (with the exception of billable expenses), so they do not affect your General Ledger.

Objects that are partially backed up:

  • Intuit Payroll information
