ChronoBooks backs up all QuickBooks Online accounting objects supported by the QuickBooks Online API.

All of the objects that affect the QuickBooks Online chart of accounts are backed up.

Notable data that is not backed up:

  • QuickBooks Online Payments information (payment processing)
  • Intuit Payroll information
  • Inventory history
  • Customer types and price rules
  • Delayed Credits and Delayed Charges (although invoices that use these will be correctly backed up)
  • Recurring Transactions
  • Bank Feeds, Bank Rules, and Bank Reconciliation links on transactions
  • Account-based billable expenses
  • Item-based billable expenses with markup

The above objects are non-posting (with the exception of billable expenses), so they do not affect your General Ledger. For transactions that are not fully supported by the QuickBooks Online API (ex: Tax Payments and Payroll) we review your General Ledger report to record their impact on your books.
